This 38 Special +P round by Speer is going to make your snubnosed revolver very happy, because it features a 125 grain Gold Dot projectile.

The bullet’s core and jacket are bonded together, and therefore are all but unable to separate as they puncture a variety of common barriers.

Heavy clothing and wallboard do virtually nothing to a Gold Dot’s weight, and even steel and safety glass do little to harm its ability to penetrate its target deeply.

The Gold Dot’s jacket is exceptionally uniform owing to the electrochemical process that created it, and its hollow point nose cavity is precision engineered to quickly expand to the right width for insurmountable stopping power.

Speer Gold Dot self-defense ammunition uses their UNI-COR method to bond the jacket and the core at the beginning of the manufacturing process.

This essentially eliminates any core and jacket separation, making for a more consistent and accurate hollow point.

Each round uses CCI boxer-primers, clean burning powder and nickel plated, reloadable brass cases to ensure performance over a wide variety of pistols.

Each bullet also goes through a two-step process for the hollow point cavity, giving Speer control over how far the bullet will expand and its rate of expansion.
